An adventure report from a trip up to Mt Anne with the intention of skiing a classic couloir off the eastern escarpment. Although we werent able to ski the couloir, an excellent trip resulted. Joining me was Tasmanian, Ben Armstrong.

Federation Peak is the most dramatic mountain in Australia. Its northwest couloir is also unskied and unattempted. Ben Armstrong and I will attempt to ski this line in 2020 with the support of The North Face.
